Step-by-Step Update Process
Step 1: Refresh Existing Seller Ratings
For existing sellers in your list, you can update their scores and feedback counts.
- Identify the columns containing
Seller Rating,Recent Feedback, andLast Updated. - If your sheet uses dynamic formulas (like
IMPORTDATAIMPORTHTML), these may refresh automatically. If not, you may need to manually trigger a recalculation. - For manual sheets, cross-reference seller usernames with the latest community data and enter the new values.
Step 2: Import a New Community Data Sheet
When a completely new dataset is released, you can merge it with your existing spreadsheet.
- Download
- Open your master Kakobuy spreadsheet.
- Create a new tab or sheet
- Use File > Import
- Ensure the data is parsed correctly, with headers aligned.
Step 3: Align and Synchronize Data
This crucial step merges fresh data with your customized notes and columns.
- In your main Seller ListVLOOKUPXLOOKUP
- The formula syntax will resemble:
=XLOOKUP(A2, 'Raw Data'!A:A, 'Raw Data'!C:C, "Not Found"), whereA2 - Copy this formula down your entire rating column to update all sellers.
- Review any "Not Found" results. These may be new sellers you might want to add, or they indicate a username change.
Step 4: Add New Sellers & Remove Inactive Ones
Maintain a relevant and comprehensive list.
- To Add New Sellers:
- To Flag Inactive Sellers:"Status". Mark sellers with drastically lowered ratings or no recent data as "Inactive" or "Under Review."
Step 5: Data Hygiene & Final Review
Complete the update with these finishing touches.
- Update the "Last Updated" date
- Sort or filter
- Check for errors
- Hide or delete
