Exporting your OopBuy data helps you analyze it offline, create custom reports, and collaborate with your team. This tutorial guides you through saving, sharing, and keeping your OopBuy Spreadsheet updated using Google Sheets integration.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have the following:
- An active OopBuy account with a populated spreadsheet.
- A Google account (Gmail) with access to Google Sheets.
- The data you wish to export is correctly formatted in your OopBuy dashboard.
Step-by-Step Export Guide
Step 1: Generate Your Export File in OopBuy
Navigate to your OopBuy Spreadsheet
Select "Export as CSV"
Step 2: Create a New Google Sheet
Go to sheets.google.com"+"
Step 3: Import the CSV File
In your new Google Sheet, click on File Import"Upload"
In the import settings dialog box, choose:
- Import location:
- Separator type:
Click "Import Data". Your OopBuy data will now populate the Google Sheet.
Step 4: Share and Collaborate
Click the green "Share"
You can also generate a shareable link for broader access. Your team can now analyze the data offline or together in real-time.
Step 5: Keeping Data Updated (Manual Refresh)
For the most current data, you will need to repeat this export/import process periodically. We recommend:
- Export a fresh CSV from OopBuy after significant data changes.
- In your existing Google Sheet, go to File Import
- Upload the new CSV and select "Replace spreadsheet"
